Delete your Mento account

You can permanently delete your Mento account — along with all your spaces, topics, cards, uploads, and recordings — at any time, from the mobile app or from any web browser. You don't need the app installed to do it.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Your content stops being accessible right away, and all associated data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

From any browser

  1. Sign in at mento.so/login (email and password, Google, and Apple sign-in all work on the web).
  2. Open Settings and choose Delete account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm, then verify it's you — with your password, or with a 6-digit code we email you if you sign in with Google or Apple.

From the Mento app

  1. Go to Settings → Delete account.
  2. Type DELETEand verify it's you the same way, then confirm.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and profile (name, email, handle, avatar).
  • All content you created: spaces, topics, cards, notes, notebooks, uploaded files, and voice recordings.
  • Anything you had published publicly is unpublished immediately.

Everything is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except records we are legally required to keep (for example tax and fraud-prevention records). You'll receive an email confirming the deletion, and another when removal is complete. If you only want to remove some content, you can delete individual spaces, topics, cards, or files inside Mento without deleting your account.

If you have a subscription

Subscriptions purchased on the web (via Stripe) are canceled automatically when you delete your account. Subscriptions billed through the App Store or Google Play are not — Apple and Google manage that billing, so cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings first, or you will keep being charged.

Can't sign in?

If you no longer have access to your account, email support@mento.so from the address associated with it and we'll process the deletion for you.
