Who qualifies for the Mento student discount?
Anyone with a valid school email — university, college, or another accredited institution. If your school gave you an email address, you can verify.
How does verification work?
Add your school email in Settings after signing up. We email you a confirmation link — click it and student pricing unlocks immediately. No ID uploads or third-party services.
How long does the discount last?
As long as you're a student. Verification lasts four years, and we'll remind you before it expires — if you're still a student then, just re-confirm your school email.
What happens after I graduate?
You keep your account and everything in it. Your current subscription keeps its student price for as long as it stays active. If you cancel and come back once you can no longer verify, you'll resubscribe at the regular Pro price — or use the free plan.
Does the discount work in the mobile apps?
Yes — verify once and the Student plan shows up on the web, iPhone, iPad, and Android. Web prices are the lowest, since app stores add their own fee.
Is monthly or yearly better?
Yearly: $59.99 a year works out to $5.00/month — 44% less than paying month to month. Both include the same features, and you can cancel anytime.
Can I use a referral or partner code as well?
Student pricing already beats them. A friend or partner code takes 20% off Pro for the first payment, and Student saves you more than that on both monthly and yearly — so codes don't stack on top of it, you simply get the lower price.
